What’s the Procedure Like?

Plasma fibroblast therapy is performed in the luxurious comfort of Amarillo Laser & Vein Clinic and takes about 30-60 minutes to complete. Topical numbing cream is available to ensure your maximum comfort during the procedure. Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed and the anesthetic cream is applied and left to take effect.

Once you’re comfortable, our skin specialist will move the plasma pen above the surface of your skin in a controlled, sweeping motion to evenly disperse the plasma energy. Small scab-like dots will appear on your skin to show the treatment is working. The last step is the application of cooling gel to reduce the tingling aftereffects and counteract any burning sensations.

Is There Any Downtime?

You can expect the small dots to scab and fall off over the next week, which may result in some social downtime. Typically, patients see improvement after a single plasma fibroblast treatment, but will often schedule 2-3 treatments to fully achieve their aesthetic goals.
